Throughout the summer we want to take some time to introduce you to all of our vendors! Today's Spotlight is on Jim & Nancy with 292 Sparcon at Home!
We asked them to tell us about how they got started and since I can't say it any better - here's what Nancy told us!
"In all of the years of having a corporate career and owning our own business we were makers and crafters at heart. Now that we are retired, we have the time to follow our love for creating all things unique in the home decor and furniture markets. We are also trained and certified retailers of two paint lines; General Finishes and Fusion Mineral Paint, that are top rated by the furniture flipping industry. Call us with your furniture paint questions and we will be happy to meet you at the Vintage Warehouse to offer assistance at no charge. We are proud to be a part of this creative and supportive venue."
In addition to their paint lines and the beautiful furniture they create, Jim also has a line of signs, door hangars & metal art that he creates as theBub! He loves working on custom orders and these pieces make wonderful gifts!
Nancy also says, "Most furniture painters develop their own style; Jim and I can't seem to settle on just one. We hate to duplicate the same finish but would rather try something unique each time. We have only repeated a finish on client requested pieces. Although, I do love to put a colored glaze as a top coat."
While Nancy is the primary painter you will often find bold color pieces that Jim has done and even furniture pieces and accessories that he has made.
