Throughout the summer we want to take some time to introduce you to all of our vendors! Today's Spotlight is on Anastasia Marino with Gypsy Cart Arts!
Anastasia is a self-taught artist who has been dabbling in different mediums for eight years. Her products are one of a kind jewelry pieces and accessories made from repurposed gems and wire. "For now," Anastasia says, "I work with reclaimed copper, lampwork beads handmade by PJ Beads from CT, Swarovski crystals, vintage beads, sea glass and tumbled stones from the beach... until I find my next fascination of another item that can be reclaimed into jewelry." Recently Anastasia has also created some unique earrings made from recycled aluminum cans!
Probably the most fascinating thing about Anastasia's creative process is that she actually uses reclaimed copper wire from electrical projects for her wire wrapped creations! She strips the electrical wiring, removes the copper, cleans it up & turns it into a beautiful piece of jewelry!
Anastasia has been a huge asset to the vendor team at Vintage Warehouse! You will find her helping out with Door Prizes during our seasonal markets and carrying items in the store for customers most Second Saturdays.
